Circle K International at SUNY New Paltz

Circle K International at SUNY New Paltz

About

Circle K International is comprised of college and university students who are responsible citizens and leaders sharing a lifelong commitment to community service worldwide. Circle K inspires people to better our world. Its motto, the same as Kiwanis International’s, is “We Build.” Circle K provides constructive opportunities for students to become involved on their campuses and in their communities through service work to others in need. Circle K members have the chance to work with fellow students, children in the community, and other adults in need of special programs.

Circle K International, the largest university service leadership organization in the world, performs half a million hours of service each year. With more than 13,700 members in 19 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day.

In the past, our Circle K Club (SUNY New Paltz Circle K) has raised awareness and monetary donations for the ELIMINATE Project, the Special Olympics Organization, March of Dimes, and others, assembled and put together Kiwanis Dolls, no-sew blankets, and no-sew pillows for donation, collaborative service efforts with other on-campus organizations, and organized food, clothing, and blood drives. In addition, we have also volunteered at soup kitchens, shelters for domestic violence/runaway teens, retirement homes, town cleanups, food pantries and so much more. Come and join us build bonds with each other and with our community!
